Yeah I do too! I used to work at KB Toys back in the day and couldn't keep myself from buying them all the time. I also bought the 1/24, and even the bigger 1/12 (I think) bike models. I occasionally buy a few when I see them but not nearly as much as I used to.

Funny I saw this today, I just ran out at lunch and picked up two treasure hunts!

I went crazy for a few years buying, selling, & trading to get a full year's set of Hot Wheels. I had even gone as far as buying a whole, unopened case just to have the joy of opening one up and finding the Treasure Hunt. LMAO! I have slowed down, but have tons in storage. I still peek whenever I am in the store with hopes of finding a Treasure Hunt. And I'm still a sucker for Johnny Lightning '69 Firebirds...I have 'em in all colors now.

lol....I actually don't collect them. Stopped at the store to pick up a few things and went back to the toy section to take a look and noticed they had just put a case out. Got lucky and found two. I also found out they now have SUPER t-hunts with dollar signs for the 's', even rarer than a regular t-hunt.

Not a big thunt collector usually use them to trade off for vw's (I only collect vw diecast and custom diecast vw's) I am actually trying to get rid of some extras to support my modding habbit

Mainly collect Datsun and some mazda and a few other import cars. Mainly datsun/old nissan stuff for me.

I have a few RC cars, but they all need to be rebuild and fixed.

I never was thrilled with the Treasure Hunts either. They usually looked overdone. I used them for fast cash when we needed it or to trade for stuff I really wanted...LE '69 Camaros, to finish sets, or to get VW Bugs (I love their VW Bugs). Mostly, I used them for cash when we were short. LOL! The '96 First Editions VW Bus brought in a nice penny.

(mswerd) Mine are on ebay now. Before I had my ebay account I would sell them to a guy in Alabama who owned a collectible store. He would buy them for $10-$12 each. Who says a dollar doesn't go far? haha
