I got me a MP3 about two weeks ago and it is FAST! I have added a few mods such as exhaust, air intake, and a few other performance parts and now I am almost pushing 200hp! I have a custom 3 layer wing, some Yokohama rims and an awesome graphic paint job. I was going down the freeway around me house yesterday and a fairly new Porche (maybe a Boxter) started messing with me and I blew its doors off. It didnt even stand a chance! The MP3 is the best buy for performance and speed! Keep it up!

I wish this is true, but this is impossible in real. You will never get up to 200hp with just an exhaust, air intake, and few other mods. And you won’t able to blow the boxter doors even with 200hp. 
Maybe your graphics can boost another 100hp.

There is more done than just a "few" mods, but I am not going to sit here and break all of them down. I had it tested out and it is running around 200hp. And the Porche run in really did happen, but I am not sure if it was a Boxter. I think my new yellow fog lights helped me out a lot, but I am just guessing. Peace!

and i woud not like to lose my 3-5 years garanty on my cart just because i put an air intake or an exhaust system...

Guess what dude? The boxter is the lowest and slowest model Proche made. Still, you won't stand a chance to win.

I think this kid is full of s h i t. It's not economically possibly to get the MP3 to run 200whp without N2O or somekind of forced induction. Come on guys, we all agree that the parts just not out there. I'm curious to see what the Touring Championship Protege ES is putting to the wheels though.

Nah, let's keep the thread open and just ignore him. Anyway, the other day I put a refundable deposit down on a 2001 mazda protege mp3. I'm thinking about buying it and dropping a turbo kit or a supercharger in it. BUT, I keep hearing that the 2002 model will have one pre-installed and will be 200+HP. Have you guys heard anything? BTW, what should my ceiling price be for the 2001?
