I'm sorry if the 944 isn't the first (or even 30th) car that comes to mind during a "sports car" word association test. I never said the car was s***. (while you clearly put down the msp (on mazda board no less!) by saying it's NOT one of a kind and not a sports car. While I agree it's clearly no sports car, no one could ever convince me it's not one of the more unique cars on the road today. All that aside... girly???? (he wrote that in his PM to me) LMAO come on man!! that's just weak! The VW bug is girly and so is the ion... but the msp??? while it's no "muscle car" I'm not sure how you can call it girly... maybe that was just your way of trying to put me down. sorry to say, it only made me laugh.
Last but not least... i'm not sure where you're getting these facts from but you may need to whip them out of your ass for us. Again, no disrespect to the 944... it's actually one of my favorite porsches ever made. but to say it's comparable with the 911? To my knowledge, the FASTEST (and there were a bunch of chuggers made) 944 ever produced was the turbo S. Now I'm not trying to come across as a porsche afficianado (sp?) as you clearly are, but I'm 99% sure the 88 turbo s model did 60 in about 5.5 seconds or so... (while other years/trims were as much as 9 seconds) While I'm not aware of the top speeds for any of them, even if they COULD push a buck 80 like a 911... they clearly can't compete with it off the line. (to be fair, the 911 turbo s does 60 in 3.6 seconds)
If you have facts and figures to back up your claim, by all means. I don't mind being wrong. Just don't call my msp a girly car again.

k, well heres wat ima do for my "new" car...
i talked wit some ppl here and there bout there insurance and s*** and i'm going to open my own policy... my mom is thinking about it, she don't know if i should do it... but she'll back me up all the way if its a good idea... so she's gonna give me my first month payment for my insurance the first day i get it and then ima go that same day and get my new car...
I got approved for an automotive loan in my credit union without a cosigner so that means i can go to any dealership and get a loan from there banks with no problem cuz i have expierence in my previous car purchase...
I'm still debating on the MP5 or MSP... i can afford both cuz ima have low rates most likely " i have a clean as credit report, no bad s***" so my payments are looking to be in the mid 200's... ima trade my car in and ask them for 3k and ima ask for 13.5k for the MSP or 11k for the MP5... but i'm still thinkin bout which one to get...

MSP, Unique... At self destruction perhaps. It's no more impressive in it's stock form as any other car on the road. It's what members like Focus do with it that is impressive.

Compare what I said about your precious 944 to what you've said about OUR beloved msp. Any reasonable person would see that were FAR more degrading in your commentary than I was. That being said, I do need to correct. just because the msp might have similar performance to a car like the focus doesn't mean it's the same in every other way. we all know the msp isn't the fastest car in the world. while it does handle better than most others out of the gate, what I perhaps like even more than that IS the uniqueness factor. I NEVER see any msps on the road where I live. (hope I'm not jinxing myself here) While the same would probably be true if I drove a 944... the fact remains that they haven't made those cars in close to 20 years. A focus on the other hand... yeah, I think I've seen a few of them around! Once again, you're showing your ignoranance (and even arrogance) by talking down on the msp. this isn't an msp vs 944 thread. that thread would be silly to begin with. both cars have a lot of bang for their buck.
Anyway... i guess by you saying the topic is dead... you've essentially giving up. you made a lot of ludicrous claims (about the 911 & 944 basically being the same in terms of performance) claims you apparently aren't willing or prepared to back up.
