Hey, long time member of Mazdas247 but I'm just crossing over here from the Mazda 5 subforums with my brand new 2012 Mazda 3 GS Skyactiv with Leather Package in Crystal White Pearl and 6 speed manual. I've had it for a month now and it has just over 3,000km on it. My wife and I absolutely love it so far.

Delivery day, goodbye to my Mazda 5, it's served me very well.

The 3's tag team partner, the 94 MPV which I got two months ago.

Looks nice.
Going to be getting a 2013 hatch soon when my lease is up. Test drove one yesterday. Such a nice car.
I'm trying to decide on color.
Black mica or velocity red mica.

Velocity red! The 3 is a fantastic car, I really enjoy driving mine. I love getting 700km to a tank in the city in a car that still loves to be slung around corners.

Congrats and mmmmmm CWP. Always have been a sucker for that color even though I'm not crazy for white cars.

Congratulations on the new Mazda3 Skyactiv, Dkaz. I made the same move back in July. I traded in a 2009 Mazda5 for a new Skyactiv hatchback with the Bose system, and moonroof. I can really say that the Skyactiv mpg's are the real deal, and the car is a blast to drive. Enjoy.
Here is an interesting on-going review of Mazda3 Skyactiv: http://blogs.insideline.com/roadtests/Vehicles/2012-mazda-3/

Thanks all! The fuel economy is fantastic. The only reason my average is 31 mpg at the moment is because my wife had been doing a paper route with the car. On my current tank so far, 36 mpg.

Finally did my first mod, lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

looks good.

i plan to just fill the gap with more rubber though, cause i want the ground clearance.

I have 205/60R16 winter tires. They work well enough and oddly doesn't seem to affect my speedometer.
