My LED swap

the worst bulb to get out for me was the step light lol (until i got some pliars)
kept buring my fingers

Very Carefully, yet forcefully lol. I used a Flat Head screwdriver to get at it. Gently pulled out, and it gave... You kinda have to work side to side to get around the clip/notch that is holding it on.

I think the hardest part was getting the freaking bulb out. (smash)

Yeah man I pulled on the cover and I thought I was gonna pull the whole light out haha.. I'll try it again today with a screwdriver.. My hands are too big to fit in the area back there

those bulbs were easiest for me.. the hardest ones were the two front map lights.. holyshit.. talk about a PITA.. i tugged on that thing till i was pissed off and just yanked it down.. i saw a BB and a spring shoot out.. like WTF was that from!? then i put it all back together with LEDs in and all then i figured out that the spring and BB went to the "DOOR...OFF" switch to control the lights and it was just flopping around// so i had to yank it back down and put it all back together.. about 45 mins. later is when i finished.. all pissed off but happy about the LED's and even happier that i didnt scuff anything in the process.

If he didn't take out the screws I'd hate to see what kind of shape that piece was in when he got done.. It would rip two holes through there and probably do alot more damage than that..

no i took them out.. had the manual in hand at the time. but the metal clips to the side were REALLY tough to get out for some reason. the half closest to the windshield would come almost all the way out but the inside half wouldnt move, but with enough force it just popped out. and was fine after i put that spring and BB back in.. it was definitely more difficult then it had to be.

I would just go with the superbrightled ones.. They are not badly priced and have great output.. I'd be afraid to go with ebay ones if it was me..

I put bulbs from superbrightled in the parking lights and ebay bulbs everywhere else. No problems so far and they all look good.

Glad to hear everyones review/expierence... I should post pics of the installation to complete the entire review

does anyone know how hard it is to put something like the tower II LED's (or something to match the Tower II's in the parking lights) in the fog lights?? ive been really interested in doing a mod like this.

Considering the fog bulbs are H11, why not get a cheap HID kit or just get some brighter H11 bulbs?

i dont know anything about H11 bulbs.. would brighter ones have the same blue tinge to them that the projectors and tower II's have? or would i have to go HID? thanks.

yea i may order me some for my headlights this week i dunno yet.
still not set on what temp i want for my lows. i cant decided between 4500k and 5k
5k is like a pure pure white right?

Right.. If you get some for your heads granted you have a MS6 and not a regular 6, its just a D2S bulb that you need.. If you have a regular 6 however you need the kit..
