My Latest Projects

No other colors are planned, but when/if you are ready to buy, we can talk about an alternative.

The benefits are reduced camber and toe change under loading(roll, compression, droop) due to greater stiffness. That means more grip :) They should be sightly lighter aswell, but I do not have a final number.

Do you have a final price though? :)

Sounds good. FYI, I have bent a stock one before. Never been in an accident or hit a curb either.

Wow! I just noticed my driver's side is bent, must have happened when I got t-boned over a year ago.... or from a quick off at the track last month. C-channel tube sucks :(

EDIT: Fedex sent my material back to Georgia! A replacement shipment is being shipped out today. With the holidays coming up I REALLY needed those materials to finish the test sets this week. Thanks Fedex.

Cool stuff. I need to make a bunch of custom parts for my "other" car. Stock rear arms are a big issue with it. And for some odd reason, there are no aftermarket parts!?

UPDATE: All materials have been delivered except one section of tubing. Test sets will be done within the week(the holidays put them on the backburner). This delays my previous hopes on public release sets, but it works out ok. I am doing a 2-day track event Feb 4-5th, so I will be able to test them under sustained high load conditions. This will be sure to unveil any problems computer analysis hasn't identified.

Glad everything is finally coming together........lemme know if you still want to swing a set my way :)

UPDATE: A few bushings and inserts have been made, but not enough for a full set yet. Delrin machines sooooooo nicely! I'll snap a few pics soon.

I ordered some new material for the front bushings though. I'm afraid delrin isn't going to handle the bending loads well enough over time. I assume AWR uses poly bushings on their bars to handle the bending loads instead of using all delrin all around. The rear hubs move on arc's which create the bending loads at the chassis mounting points of the RTA. The new material is more elastic, but still reasonably hard. Delrin bushings will stay at the hub attachment point though.

Some delrin bushings and inserts(not for the bushings shown)

Working on it. My buddy who is helping me with the lathing wasted quite a bit of material so it'll be February before I can get your set done :( Finding free time in the shop is also a pain.

i am interested in the camber plate, i assume its caster and camber adjustable right coz i just purchased the awr camber plate and find out i didnt fit on my illuminas, by the way the shaft size on the illuminas is around .78, some information i found when the awr didnt fit. anyways i am so desperate for the camber plate, hope these goes into production real soon. Thanks

Caster won't be adjustable, but it will be set at the maximum negative amount that will work with the strut towers. Interesting that the shaft is a larger diameter on the Illuminas. Thanks for the heads up!

What is the outside diameter of the sphercial bearing on the AWRs? You might be able to find a bearing with the same OD but an ID that'll work with the Illuminas. Better to look around for one before you sell them.
