My Latest Projects

No, I mean find a bearing that will fit into the AWR tophat, but will also except the Illumina's shaft. Just measure the diameter of the bearing housing and I'll help you look for a compatible part.

All the machining is finally finished after dealing with out of spec parts, extra material orders and last minute changes. They are being welded up Friday and will be painted & installed JUST in time for the track this weekend. I'll post up some pics tomorrow and then impressions after the weekend.

Thanks for all the interest, it's been pushing me to get these done despite other obligations :)

I weighed everything tonight and was a a lil surprised how much more they weighed than oem, damn chromoly :( I'll weigh everything again tomorrow to be sure the ancient scale I was using is calibrated correctly before I share the numbers.

I wonder if they would fit on my Tein Basic Damper Kit? What do you think?

The camber plates? If you can get a few measurements, I can tell you if they'll work. PM me and I'll show you what to measure(you'll have to take a few things apart).

The first set of trailing arms are FINALLY done. Had to rattle can them due to the time crunch but oh well. I'll post impressions and installed pics Monday.

Camber plates are coming as soon as I finish more sets of the trailing arms.

Thanks guys! I JUST installed them. Took forever to get the bolts loose to remove the OEM arm. The jig I made is almost dead nuts, so I'm happy. Can't wait to track them tomorrow... sleepy time.

They held up great throughout the weekend at the track... even with some off-roading :) Pics and a more detailed summary later.

What are the benefits of an upgraded trailing arm? I've never really stopped and thought about it.

No other colors are planned, but when/if you are ready to buy, we can talk about an alternative.

The benefits are reduced camber and toe change under loading(roll, compression, droop) due to greater stiffness. That means more grip :) They should be sightly lighter aswell, but I do not have a final number.

Yea, they bascially keep the suspension movement more optimized. As for weight, they are heavier. I don't believe what the ancient scale I used read though so I'm not sure on numbers. Where did the weight come from? Solid bushings, round tubing(instead of c-channel) and thicker bushing housings. I will weigh the next test set on a reliable scale :)
