My First Mazda!!

Meh...every company is different in some aspect. You could arguably say ford has the cheapest and biggest aftermarket for its mustang, and therefor have problems picking the right items. And on the other hand since mazda has such few, their stuff is easier to choose

For some reason or another mazda (especially the ms3) has never had the biggest aftermarket compaired to other companies, even though mazda has been focused around performance

I was referring more towards retailers, and not parts makers.

I have noticed however the aftermarket is fairly small given the potential of the car. I do find that odd, but then again I sort of feel like Mazda is a bit forgotten at times. When I was researching cars to buy Mazda was the last one to pop into my mind. It's no fault of theirs, they make great cars and have a great racing heritage, but they no one ever really thinks about Mazda.

If I were to make an(bad) analogy, they seem to be the Arby's of cars, Arby's makes good food and there is nothing not to like, but when it is time for fast food, you never think of going to Arby's.

I put in fresh coolant, which is the messiest nastiest job to do. I was covered in that poison! Also it only took 1 gallon of coolant. I thought this car took about 9 quarts which is 2.25 gallons? I may have screwed up somewhere.

I put on the shifter bushings, which was a very easy job, and it really increased the precision of my shifts.

Finally, I put on my new TRZ Poly RMM. It does what it advertises to do. Shifts are great and I have not missed third gear at all. Also my god it has really allowed the car to apply its power! Exiting a corner it spun the tires in 3rd, mind you the surface was a bit wet. I am not sure about the vibrations though, its very rumbly which I am not a huge fan of. We will see, I will give it a fair shake and see how it breaks in.
