My Cf Hood

Yea, for awhile now my hood sits a lil higher on the right side i did the hood adjusters took the right one off and lift the left one to set it, it evens out a lil but it sits over the fenders on both sides, so i decided to take off the latch and see how it sets witout it and bam it sits perfect, so i set the latch a lil lower it latches on the first part but when i push down more it dont lock so, im thinking about just takin out the latch, and get hood pins to keep it down. i adjusted it in everyway and taken out the latch seems to be the only way to make it set perfect.

I had a similar problem with my latch rattling. I managed to hammer the bolts down about a centimter on the latch and it fixed it. You could try that, or just use hood pins.

when playing with the hood latch, be careful with the front nut on it.. that bolt is fragile.

Die Grind holes on the Latch so you can move it down further, and still make it latch properly. Much cleaner than hood pins IMO.

Yea i did that bro, just not much to work with, ill see whats up though, ill mess wit it some more, but im leanin towards the hood pins.

Had the same problem on my ZX2. I had to do it, remove the latch and use the hoodpins. Just hope no one wants to get freaky under your hood...
