My car dies after warm start up......

I have a K&N Typoon cold air intake and a factory Mazdaspeed tuned exhaust pipe and run Mobil 1 5-20W syntetic oil.

Suddently my car dies after start up warm. Lets say I drive 10 miles and then park for 1-2 hours. When I go to start the car, it dies rigth away if I do not pump the accelerator pedal a couple of times. After 8K plus RPM accelerations, the car behaves "normal".

Have anybody has this happened before? No check engine ligth shows up, and after a couple of acceleration it starts working OK. It does not die on any traffic ligths or any hard stoppage either.

Any suggestions? Th filter look clean and it only has like 5K miles after installation.

if u installed the intake, u removed and reinstalled the maf.

maf cleaner is a spray, just remove the maf and give it a couple of puffs

I live in a fu&**&-up place, and I doublt that I can get a "MAF" sensor cleaner... do you have any suggested products that I can use? Even the US availeble ones will help, I migth be able to find a suitable replacement here...... Im in Muscat, Oman..... the desert....

Um, I'm pretty sure it'll cost more than that. Re-manufactured ones are about $150, so you're probably looking at about $50-75 from a salvage yard.

+1. Are you really revving to 8k RPM? Maybe your car is stalling because of some mechanical engine damage, since redline is like 7k RPM
