congradulations but I would have gotten a speed3 and kept 13,000 in my poket... the stock evo really ins't any quiker than the speed, maybe a little to 60 cuase 4whd but the performance gain stops there..

Or I could not waste my time with another FWD performance car since my MP3 will outrun the speed3.
I'm done with FWD.
If I wanted to drive a fast FWD car, I'd walk outside and hop into my MP3.
No offense, but do you know what you're talking about? First of all, no one buys an evo and keeps it stock. The evo X is already making 350whp with bolt ons. It actually gets TRACTION (unlike a high power FWD car), and it will outhandle an MS3, and look better while doing it. And MOST importantly, the platform has a LOT of support and lightyears more potential than a speed 3.
I'm running an MP3 that will probably smoke almost every speed 3 on this board, and will beat the evo X in a drag race as well. And as fun as it is to drive, I have to baby it until 3rd gear since I can't hook up. In all honesty, a speed 3 would be a complete waste of my time. I could supe it up and probably make more power than I do out of my MP3...which already has more power than it can use anyway.
My goal here is to outdo what I've already got, and the MS3 just won't do that very easily.

that is SUCH bs.. the evo is almost the same to 60 like 5.4 vs 5.6
and it 4whd it runs a 100mph in the quarter just like the speed3 yet u say its 100times better..
plus the new mitsu engine is allunimu bolck.
I would buy a speed spen 5k in mods and save $8,000!
also u say the mitsu is better engineered i have floored my car all 34k miles and have not had 1issue, engine doesn't use a drop of oil and consumer reports rates the ms3 with a full red reliability rateing the best offered..sounds like good engineering to me.
Me, I'm getting the $35K car and probably doing $15K in mods.
