Yep, and the $40 was the K&N cone.
The silver pipe was a Maxspeed piece for an Integra. It had 2 45 degree bends and a straight section. At the start of one of the 45 bends there's a hose fitting(you can see it in the 3rd pic), so I cut the other one off. The 90 degree coupler is off of, get this, a 1st gen Legacy Turbo(it does say Subaru on it in that picture, but my mom's camera was being retarded). The orange coupler is missing a hose clamp because it's a 2.5" coupler on a 3" pipe and won't budge at all. I've gotta cut some of the bend off of the pipe but it's ok for now. Also prolly going to make some sort of heat shield but I donno how or with what.
Now then the 90 degree coupler is also 3" so I had to take a busted up coupler and fit it over the throttle body so it sealed up. Works flawlessly.
Compared to my cut up airbox, it seems to flow much better at high RPM...the airbox made very deep sound, this intake sounds more in tune with the engine and sounds very purty.
