wow, I didn't think I liked the RE30 look on a car, but the 2010 pulls it off nice!

can you say " d-d-d-drop "?

dot really think it needs a drop. It would look nice, but not necessary IMO. On another note, this is the first '10 that i've seen that I actually like. The SVN's are pulled of nicely, and really complement the car, and not make it look so goofy.

looks good....and i really like picture #3. i like the reflection of the driver side wheel.

Hyperblack looks great on there! but I do think it needs a nice drop to bring it all together.

thanks everyone :)

I really think the SVN and any other split spoke wheel compliment the shape of the 2010s. I wasn't sold on the Hyperblack color but they show really nice on the silver. The stock suspension I think is more than adequate for me and I think having the 18s fill the wells relatively nicely. Not sure I'm willing to take a chance on IL streets with a lowered aftermarket suspension (shrug)

The wheels are quite wide and come within a cardboard thickness to the rubber guard next to the suspension so I may get 3MM spacers just in case - not rubbing or anything but going wider than 225 or 40 series tire is not an option right now.

mr_mazda: thanks again!

captain: i'm in NW 'burbs of IL

i too am in the northwest burbs of IL. let me know if you want to meet up some time.

You could always do something like Eibach Pro Kit Springs, or COBB Springs...the drop on those are about an inch, that would still keep it very practical.....just a suggestion.:)

stock mazda 3 roof spoiler swap???? why? that money could go elsewhere... like Springs!

I doubt any money would be involved if he found someone with a 3HB that wanted to trade.

Car looks good BTW!

I personally prefer the 3HB spoiler to the 2-tiered look of the MS3 spoiler - so I understand where the OP is coming from
