I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm sure a lot of the MSP owners only have one car. It's only a bike rack, it's not like he's got a luggage rack on it or something. I think it looks pretty sweet up there. Better than on the back like some people do. (thumb)

LOL to each his own. He realizes a car can be used for multiple purposes. Besides how many MSPs owners here actually take their car to track events all the time?
Its least looks good on the car considering the types of bike racks out there that can look ugly.
Remember it is still a car, use for whatever you can.

Cool! I am taking delivery of my new Specialized Hardrock Comp today, and a friend of mine let me have a Thule (3) bike trunk rack that he wasn't using anymore. And; it actually clears the rear wing. I will take some photos. The nice thing is the padded lower bar rests on my bumper, while the top bar rests against the lower part of the back glass. Sweet!

As a few pointed out the MSP is my only car, and there was no way in hell I was gonna try to shove the bike in the trunk, so a rack was my only option. I went with the roof rack because I didn't want to have to deal with getting into the trunk with the bike hanging of the back which, right or wrong, I've heard can be an issue with a trunk rack....btw the camera, TURBO3WAGON, is a Sony DSC-F707

Guys, its just a car. It's meant to be used.

And it's the ultimate sport utility. Plenty of sport, 4 doors + large trunk for utility.

I live in Whitewater, WI. I've been out the the Ultrascreen in Waukesha a few times. Most recently to the X2 opening on 5/2. I'll be easier to spot now with the bike rack on top.

heh...if my dad's friend can mount a bike rack on his carrera, then by all means you can mount one on a msp...of course his bike rack is a cool porsche bike rack so it matches...lol

yeah gotta love the p5 for bike...it's the perfect car for taking bikes and equipment along
