a 3rd gen with a KL-ZE would be about as cool as it gets...some day I hope to try it...
but I know what you mean about the quality thing...I am very happy with my P5, but I do worry about things down the road...such as gearbox problems, and the oiling problems some run into...My girlfriend's dad had a '89 BP powered 323 that went well over 300,000 miles without a single engine rebuild, or gearbox replacement...only thing he ever put into it was a clutch, struts, tires, and a replacement exhaust (only put the new stuff on to replace the worn out parts)...the odometer finally stopped working at 319,000 miles...and about 2 weeks later the car was totaled in a collision involving a deer, and a tree...in which he was fine, but the little 323 had seen better days...
I am not too sure that any FS car will get anywhere close to that high of mileage without a rebuild...
