muffler

I'm thinking on just getting a muffler for my P5..The bosal for $350 dont appeal to me all that much $500 for the not made racing beat..nah..what about one of these..i'm not looking for power gains just looks/sound...but i dont want it too loud..it has the removable silencer..anyone or can anyone recommend a good cheap muffler?

That muffler will most definately be loud.
I've used a similar N1 exhaust on my car without the baffle and it drives me crazy inside the cabin! If you are intending to purchase it I recommend having the baffle (silencer) installed. This way you will still get a nice tone without driving the occupants inside the car mad and to comply with your local state noise laws,in assuming you are a residant of US.
Or if you dont like the look of the muffler with the installed baffle ( I know it receives mixed opinions) you should check out Magnaflow brand mufflers, www.magnaflow.com. They too have a nice deep throaty sound but dont produce too much resonance inside the cabin. You can take my word for it as all this comes from personal experience. Well hope that helps, and hey if you ever get the exhaust installed why not post some pics for us?

I guess i'll wait another month or so and see what happens...

Its still winter up here so no rush till April anyway.

oh and if you check the bottom sig of the post. you'll see i'm not from the US.

Yeah, duhhhhhh! Sorry I didnt notice that bottom line. Since you are in Canada, as am I the local authorities arent too strict about road noise so you are pretty much fortunate. Although keep in mind that any very loud exhaust will attract attention so just be careful of whom you drive in front of hehe. I will be getting my MP5 soon, probably when spring comes and when I get my exhaust installed, I will definately post some pics. Man that car is sweeet!
I'll let you know the outcome of that.
