Yep it should be the same. Be warned an MPI is a GIANT pain in the ass to install. It is not plug and play at all. You have to cut your main wiring harness and then solder the tiny little wires together and if you run the coil wires wrong you fry them. It aint fun.
But when it works it works well.

LOL... i'm only having dana tune my car..it's either mpi, or aem.. i'd prefer aem..jephs aem to be exact..but we'll see what he says.. the mpi..you need more injectors?
 
the MSP is electronically speed limited @ 135mph, although your speedo may say different(since it's only accurate to about 3-4mph past 120 or so), the ECU prevents faster than 135MPH. there's a ground wire under the fuse box in the engine bay that you can cut that disables the electronic speed & rev limiter (and your ABS..) and will let you go beyond red-line , you won't be able to see how fast you're going on the stock speedo (obvisouly, since it tops @ 140) but with it cut, about 150MPH is possible

Need? No. Want? Yes.
It can control an additonal two injectors that are mounted in your IC pipe. Not only can it add more fuel but it also cools the mixture.
On a side note :) there aint no way in hell I would cut a wire and kill my ABS.

abs..no...governor..and rev limiter..OH **** YES..is there a way to resplice the rest or something....and...i thought that ground wire grounded the whole fuse panel??


yash...dude...i need to get my ******* car running..it'd be cool to see some of you guys down here when dana comes down...to MD:)

that's what I thought too(so it might acutaly be some other wire below it, i dunno, i've never acutaly seen the mod), but msprotege2nr has done it and said it only disabled ABS and the rev/speed limiter

i'd absolutely hate to lose ABS.......

I hit top speed late last nite .... speedo said 140mph, but i guess it was really 135mph as stated above. Felt strong and smooth accelerating up. I was flooring it in 4th, but made sure I wasn't boosting full in 5th. I was surprised how fast it got up there. some Integra gsr was tailing me closely and was pissing me off so i decided to jump into the express lane and gun it. bye bye integra.

which wire do i need to cut because i just did a ecu swap into my DX and never had ABS just need to know which wire needs to be cut since there is more than a few ground wire on the underside of the fuse box
 
Car is officially governed at 131, electronically due to aerodynamic lift. this is just a fuel cut. but going downhill i hit 135, then massive fuel cut.
 
well my car is lowered and has hit 136 i want past that just for the sake of not being governed and my car didn't come with abs so i could care less about that beside it has made me a better driver.
 
not my msp but this isn't a photoshop....its a member on here whos pretty built up.

msprotege2nr is the guy to talk to about the speed limiter modification. E-mailing him would probaly be your best bet.. afaik he sold his MSP a while ago. Got a SRT-8 instead.
 
i tired to e-mail him so maybe in the next few days he'll respond so i can tell everyone the how to.
