Hey everyone yet another post for this newbie however I just got off the phone with Mazda here in London, ON and the salesman quoted me $27,500 for a 2003.5 yellow MSP.
What have you paid for yours or what quotes have been given to you I just want to make sure I dont get screwed or pass up a great deal. Thanks in advance :)

lach that is the MSRP, pretty much everyone is paying MSRP on their cars, I did not even bother trying to beat them down because I knew I would be wasting my time, so if your interested in actually getting the car your probably not going to find a deal any better around here

and as some other people will post the search button is your friend ;) you will find multiple topics on this

Lach, tekkie is right. When i ordered my '03 MS, i was told that there wouldn't be any type of discount from members on this board. It's expected though, considering how limited this car is only a few are available at each dealership. You may not get a dime off the car, but you can always ask them to kindly throw in a few accessories.

Thanx alot for the response I figured there wouldent be much of haggling going around but my buddy may want one too so maybey cause were buyin 2 thell do a little somethin extra.

27500 is the price, but find other ways to get deals. Freedom driving, free fogs, free warranty...anything.

I bought mine about a month ago. It was around 26,000, and the final came out to 30,000 I believe. This is for a 2003 MSP.

Great site YP5 I'll check with those dealers for sure the Mazda here in London sucks Im just getting the bidding war started. Im praying to get it under 30k if possible if not I'll go with a P5 which I have driven and absoulutely love, oh yeah P5 nice ride!

The msp is a way better value than the p5, considering the suspension, exhaust, wheels and stereo....get you dealer to price a p5 with the mp3 kit and it will be over the msp. We looked at that last year

Got my 2003 at MSRP, bought winter tires + steelies but got a deal on my tinted windows and a hood deflector for free :)

YO lach, I bought my 2003 Spicy at the London Probart Mazda dealer.....If you do go there Ask for Sasha. He's the dealer I went with, he was great. Tell him Jake Giesbrecht sent ya.....althought he probably won't remember me....
:D

Hey Geezer000!!! I think I saw you man do you ever cruise around wonderland and sarnia? i live right there and saw one sweeeeeeeeeet ride man very nice i will definately ask for her thanx alot!

Naw......I think there's another one in London that is not on the board.....
I'm goin to Mazda in about 2 hours or so to ask some questions about my other mazda....I'll keep a look out for the other MSP.

P.S Sasha is a Guy...:D

Ok...Heres the deal...call up Dave Wood Mazda in Newmarket. Ask for Kevin in the Parts department, tell him you are form the TOProtege.com club and let him know that you are looking at a MSP (tell him Jason with the CF Hood sent you).

They WILL get you a good deal.

i went to davewood mazda in newmarket, the sales guy there was a prick. (although they did have 3 on the lot as of June.07) - it wasn't kevin from service so i can't speak about him at all.

went down to north avante mazda and bought the car from them. (they had 2 on the lot, now only 1)

when i went there in the morning, they gave me $511/mth and $0-down. went back there in the afternoon and got it @ $506/mth with $0 down, and to top it off, got them to throw in the extended warranty (4yr/100,000km), locking wheel nuts, and a hood edge protector.

i'm pretty happy, i pick it up in a week :\

Hey lach that may have been me you saw. I was in London last weekend, and my friend lives right near Wonderland and Sarnia. Were the windows tinted?

war, thats for a lease right? Cause I'm payin $530 a month/5y with $5000 down

I dont think the windows were tinted it was a younger guy driving it, if I get the MSP itll be the yellow I just love how it looks on the car! Spicy orange didnt appeal to me at first however the more I see it the more I like it too bad thats not available anymore.

yep, leased !

i don't like financing right off the start. if the car treats me right (which i'm sure it will) for the 4 years, its mine :)

buyout is like $13G or something, which i'd finance then.

probably switch out the turbo/intake then also.
