Help me out here, Im not to familiar with BOV and the setups. What is the rest of the stuff after the BOV and what is the purpose of it? Thanks for the help and sorry for the NOOB question.

those ar ehis additional injectors...they are installed in the ic piing and turn on when he hits a certian psi of boost too keep enough fuel so he doesnt lean out

Thanks for the info. One more question, since Im not very familiar with FMIC either. Is the BOV before or after the injectors? Thanks again.

I'm assuming before or else it would be venting fuel into the atmosphere, but I'm not sure.

hahaha, yea they are.:) I guess Skip is well known all over the place for being one of THE BEST welders. He drives an old shelby cobra most of the time, and he is really into modding cars. He wants to line up with me after seeing the new setup. Haha, don't really know what will happen, but I am guessing that I'll get owned. He has modified it quite a bit, and is putting down a lot of power. It will still be awesome to line up with such a fine car.:)

DEF NICE...SHOULD THE injectors be tilted slightly for better flow into the air stream?

Nope, these injectors have a 4 nozzle tip that is calibrated for the 90* airflow. Angling them would make sense, but I would need injectors that were designed for it.

Authentic. I have another friend that has a replica, but Skips is the real deal.

With the MPI tuner software, I have 3 tables to adjust how the car runs. One for the stock injectors, one for the ignition, and one for controlling the secondary injectors. I can now add extra fuel with the secondary injectors, as soon as the car goes into boost. This will allow me to run higher boost levels without leaning out.

Rich you turned the intercooler pipe around. I was trying to figure that out in the first pic with the injectors, so now your bov is futher from your tb. Just noticed it . Man you have really thought this out. Sweet and good work. Iam next ahhahahahaahahahahah.

Thanks Tony. Yes, I turned that piece of pipe around so the injectors would be closer to the motor, and also so I wasn't blowing fuel out of the SSQV.:)

Hey rich will you blow any fuel out the way you have it now. Got it tuned yet . Man it looks good.

Thanks again Tony, I don't think much fuel wil get blown off, but I am leaving my SSQV open vent for a little while to see if it does or not. I have turned my boost up to 10, and I am tuning a map for that now. Still 15:1 while cruising, and 12:1 under boost. It pulls so smooth now, haha, it doesn't even feel like the same car. The ability to tune the point that the PCM makes the change from open to closed loop is one of the coolest aspects, I have it set to change immediately when I get on it, and I no longer feel the transition. The A/F ratio really stays solid when in closed loop too, it bounces around a little bit when it is in open loop, but once I hit boost, it just goes to a perfect 12:1 and holds it.
