I know there's a ton on this subject but all I can find is people discribing it as "hitting a wall" my car seems to be fine until under load. Once I hit above 5 lbs of boost it acts like a rev limiter.. is this the brick wall or mass air bad. I'm not sure would would be greatly appreciated.

see that cut out is not like what I am experiancing. mine seriously is like a rev limiter. alot faster hesitation then that.

Frequently when coilpacks or wires fail the car will run fine at idle but will misfire under load.

Last year my car started hesitating in boost and it turned out to be the #2 cyl plug wire.

Hornsfan it was only in boost that you had issues? No where else through the rpm's?

MSP plug gap is .028-.030", the plugs will come .044" for a N/A car and will need to be re-gapped.

Iv never had plugs and wires fix any issue in the past. Its amazing to me that it was just that. Thanks for the help

Check your exhaust manifold gasket. I was experiencing this and had the CEL go off with a lean code. After searching and searching, this is what I came up with. At first there wasn't much noise, but as it got worse the noise got more prevalent. It was blown out on the top corner on the passenger side. I fixed it but still have the light which leads me to believe that the hairline crack on the manifold has something to do with it. No more "wall" under load though.
