What was involved in the swap? Was everything a direct bolt on? Did you have to change any additional parts to get the swap to work?

all that is involved is using the MSP calipers and ours (or any msp front rotors) I sell the kit for $350 and i would need your stock calipers as cores

Could you (Or more appropriatly 'I') get the kit without the cross-drilling or slotting action, out of curiosity?
eddie i can get them without cross drilled and slotted for a little cheaper let me get a cost for you

Nice, nice. I'm still trying to get the whole FC caliper thing working, but still no FC calipers to be had for me. Hehee. If that proves to be more of a pain than it's worth, I'll swap over to the MSP brakes, probably.

This might sound like a stupid question, but whats the point? You can just get crossdrilled rotors that fit on the p5. Do the MSP have two piston calipers rather than the one piston calipers in the p5?

you have a nice protege. im trying to find some wheels for mine cause im pretty much done with modifying other than an intake, short shifter, and possible wheels if i can find any that i like. just wanted to tell u have a nice protege.

schiesskopf5: The diameter of the disk is larger, so more heat dissipation, as well as the fact that the diameter of the piston in the caliper being a little larger, too, and greater pad surface.

ok, that makes sense. I put crossdrilled and slotted rotors and some new pads on my car and i am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks for the info flat black.

when i take it to the trak the small P5 rotors just can't take the abuse, the larger MSP size rotors help out quite a bit

eddie it is $50 cheaper if you don't do the cross drilling and slotting on them
