Yeah look for the RMS, that is the constant power they want. A lot of amps and speakers say stuff because it is the peak power, but no the real power. Take our amp for example, it is not 250 watts. If I remember it is like 75 watts x 2. But the peak is 250 so they advertise that, they do the same for speakers, so beware.

A 700 watt pair of speakers would be so loud that right before the speakers blew into 8000 pieces your body would turn inside out and then implode into another dimension.

Hmm... Dimension jumping via audio combustion... Very interesting. .. I MUST GET TO WORK ON THIS!

My stock 250 watt kenwood is about 3/4 turning which is pretty much where is came.

I guess I am asking would a 75*4 be sufficent to power my speaks?

no I mean adding an additional amp for the Mids and High's like a amp that puts out 75*4 or something of that nature

I know, what amp are yo going to use putting out that power?
Just becuase 2 amps say they each put out that much juice, doesn't mean they actualy do. Theres a very good reason my JL 300/4 cost $500 :D

For the music I listen to; This stock system is great! And; I listen to classic rock, jazz, and some new age.

You wouldn't be saying that if you heard some Jazz on a higher end system.

My bad 1st Mp3, I don't have any brand I know I am just looking for a certain power range. So what brand do you think is best bang for the buck? JL?

Oh I know; there is always something better. That's just not a priority right now.

Exactly a lack of reference is not an excuse for a poorly perfomning system.

To say good, better, bad, ect. you must have something solid to compare it too. If all you ever listened to music on was a stock TV, alraqm clock, bose wave radio, and a factory car audio system..... then I am sure the factory system in the MSP sounds damn nice o your ears.

However, go to a local tweeter and listen to a set of Sonus farber grand painos and then get back in your car. Then you;ll no what its like to have a true point of reference. :D

For a 4 channel amp right now the best I have seen for the money is by far the eclipse EA3422.

Its not a matter of proprity so much as a proper point of comparision.

If the comperrison is the MSp is a nice factory system for a $20K Sport compact, I would agree that it is in flexabilty and volume output but not in total acuracy or reliabilty.

Now to blanket and call it a good car system is so far from acurate its almost humerous.

I have it and I can tell you that it's worth every penny. Very clear and clean, good power output, extremely low noise. That...and it looks sexy too! :D
