MS6 start-up idle..........

Hey guys, I just bought my '07 MS6 last week. I have about 275 miles on it and now I'm noticing that it is idling around 2K when I start it up. Any ideas?

it will idle around 2k for a few seconds. usually no longer than like 15 seconds, maybe longer if it is cold outside.

it is completely normal though, no worries

The way new cars are made, they tend to idle high on startup, and dont circulate coolant in an effort to get the engine running warm enough for safe operating temperatures before you start driving
