<div class="bbWrapper">the rear differential i believe is the same or a revision of the one in the mazdaspeed protege, mazdaspeed miata and mazda rx-8. a replacement that is stronger should be easy to find or have made.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">My driver's side cv joint (part of the axle) broke shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear (not launching the car, just accelerating onto the freeway). I have under 300whp so I would say the axle IS a weak link.</div>
