I just played the demo on Xbox360 and WOW! It's so much different from the previous games.

To answer some questions on here: it is during the day and I did hear it will be at night for some races. I don't know though.

There are no police chases as ProStreet as it is an organized series and closed tracks.

It is still more of an arcade style racing, but it is also more realistic as well. This makes for tough driving all around. Think of it as a blend between Juiced2 and PGR4.

The graphics are as real as it gets! Everything about it is related to the real life and I love it. I am definitely buying the game when it comes out.

Ehh, the AI gets much better. Try most wanted. It rocks unreal. You could give Carbon a miss, the team system bugs the crap out of me, drifting an MS3 is alot of fun though.

Burnout or Midnight Club > NFS. The NFS games just annoy me. Hopefully this ones better.

The Mazdas look great though.

haha, I just realized I have the opposite problem. Not that my wife won't let me play Video games, but I just cant find the time. Moved into a new house two months ago and still havent plugged the XBOX 360 in, lol.

Yup, those were the best! Got my Sega Saturn the day it came out in May 1995, and Need For Speed Came out in 1996 for it. I still play it to this day, and probably will later tonight!

Basically, if you remember the "Underground League" races from NSFU2, its an entire game based around those, for lack of a better word. My understanding from Game Informer and SCC is that its supposed to be the idea of the weekend warrior racers. Sanctioned events, not street racing, as it isn't part of the Most Wanted series or the spin offs.

I already have my copy paid for (on a trade in for The Darkness, Test Drive Unlimited, and Juiced 2), just waiting for the call from Game Stop to go pick it up.

I do have to say though...if NSFU2 had video cuts instead of that comic book s***, and cops, I'd still be playing. Most Wanted blew, but Carbon started getting better. The only thing I never liked about NSFU2 was that it took forever to customize a car to get enough "style points" to advance with out making it look like those useless HIN show cars.
