it was a 40 roll, the srt4 owner said i wasnt worth his gas

ditto. alot of the comments i can bet were srt owners being dicks. From owning both, the MS3 has top end the srt will never have when both are on stock turbo, plus our turbo is larger and more efficient than the td04..

i dont care much for name calling but when you have the fastest fwd car made to date, and if you kno your history, yes faster the the shelby GLHS.. a sense or arrogance will always follow. do you blame them? knowing bone stock you can blow away 60-70 percent of the cars on the street? i dont, some take it too far IMO, but the srt community is one of the cooler around. if you want to get on the arrogance and dick head topics, go to the evo and sti forums.

You are kidding, right? This is why SRT-4 owners get a bad name. I can think of a good bunch of cars off the top of my head that I see on a very regular basis that, stock for stock, would blow an SRT out of the water.

Who ******* cares about cost? When I go out and race, I don't skip lining up against someone and say "Hey, I'mnot ognna race you, your car cost more." Thats as bad as the BMW guys I know that say "so what if you beat me, I'm still going home in a BMW."

Actually it's not that impressive, becaues there is a huge number of fwd cars that are really down to a drivers race with the srt4. It is a bad, bad, badass car, dont get me wrong. I really wanted one but the insurance was as much as my payment would be with 0 points on my record. But they are barely faster than the dsm fwd turbo cars, our car, now the caliber srt4, hell even the taurus sho and dodge daytona r/t are almost as fast. Not to mention the fact that the new accord v6's run 14 flat our so in the 1/4, the impala ss is right there, the last gen maximas, altima's with the 3.5's. They have a ton of potential, but not anymore than the dsm's. Just because you have a fast car shouldn't mean that you become as asshole. There are plenty of cool srt4 owners, but a huge number of aholes too. Go to just about in compact car forum, mustang forums, camaro forums, they are among the most hated owners but also the most respected cars.
Like I said, I meet alot of mustang owners that think they are the s*** and most camaro ss guys are cool, even though ss's destroy mustangs. Srtforums is a great place though, alot better than here up to this point. Hopefully this place picks up soon, assholes make the internet more fun. Plus the marketplace here is dead, hope that picks up too.

new or old srt4? caliber or neon?
There is only one real srt4 and its not the Caliber. Anyway, I have an 07ms3 and still have my 04srt. There are very close in straight line stock for stock. The Ms3 is more of an enthusist car. Mildly modded the ms3 seems to respond better but most of us know what srt4 is capable of.

Just don't mess with a neon SRT-4 that's modded, unless you got some serious mods yourself. Too easy to mod them, and most are modded by now, and those cars FLY!!!! I alreayd got walked badly by one in my Speed 6. The guy was toying with me on the highway.
