That and there just isn't any power to get out of the 1.5L. Trust me I know! Full exhaust, cai, header gave you maybe 10hp.sanblaster1 said:I think dictated by the age group purchasing the vehicles.

Actually I don't think anyone will be happy, maybe not AS angry! I just traded mine in, don't really miss it.Hikaru9 said:I bet the xB owners will be happy when the gas prices go up to $4+.
benben84 said:Just to let everyone know, the caliber is built on the same chassis as the new lancer so I think it may handle very well. Even if dodge screws up the suspension, the frame is still very rigid and has potential. It needs to be dropped bad though!

Redesigned Lancers start sale next March as early 2008 models. They use the so-called C-platform developed by Mitsubishi and Chrysler Group, making them basically sedan cousins of the Dodge Caliber wagon. The new Lancer is larger than the old one, and spy photos show sleeker styling a la Mitsubishi's midsize Galant. Mainstream models will offer up to three 4-cyl engines--1.8, 2.0 and 2.4 liters. These are also shared with Chrysler as well as Hyundai, which partner with Mitsubishi in the Michigan-based Global Alliance engine facility. Like Caliber, the '08 Lancer will offer a continuously variable automatic transmission, a first for a Mitsubishi. All-wheel drive, however, should be reserved for the Evolution X, the latest in a long line of street-legal Lancer rally-racers. A recent Evo concept is said to be much like the final product, so look for over 300 turbocharged horsepower and a meaner look vs. other Lancers.
