Nope, not a crissis. Your just being yourself . I personally want to buy a nice Porsche 911 GT3/Viper/Corvette at that age, hardtops only though. Or at least a S2000 (w/hardtop). I'm 22 right now, I'd like to think that I can always have a sports car, doesn't have to be new just have to have it and afford it. Don't care if the wife has a newer, "nicer" car as long as I have something to play with on a track.

My experience in Houston so far has been that LS1 owners have been much cooler about meeting "on the road," as it were. Every MS3 has immediately tried to race me. I do not drive like a lunatic, so I can't imagine that I invited a race. I save that for when there is no one else around. Gotta leave a few lanes open to account for tq steer.

yeah, most mS3 owners in my area are nice, and acknowledge the fact that they do own a MazdaSpeed Car. I dont see too many, but I always give a wave or smile when I do.

I have also had lots of people that are not in a Mazda stop me at a stoplight and comment on how much they like it, or they think it sounds really good.

I saw a MGM ms3 the other day sitting at a red light on a four lane road going the other way, as the light changed we both stuck our hands out the window at the same time and waved. Brotherhood. Of course this is the south.

The only time I get waves is when I'm driving the '02 or the Wrangler. I may see another MS3 once or twice a month- tops.

Well, sure...I'll get in on the act of resurrecting a 2 year old thread, too....

I drive a protege5 in an area where there just isn't a lot Mazdas, period. A guy in town was riding around in a red Speed3 for awhile and we kept noticing each other but never got a chance to really wave.....finally one day we were in town and he just about broke his arm trying to wave to me. I thought that was really cool and just shows that Mazda enthusiast notice each other. Well, Speed3 drivers and Protege5 drivers. Not Aunt Mildred driving a '98 dx. lol

I'm friendly too. I just don't like to eye contact to no one. Don't want to give mix signals. If I catch anyone wave at me i'll do the same. Or if someone walks up to me and wants to talk, i'll talk no problem. I just not the type that will do that. Or maybe I have sociophobia lol. Any way, heres a wave to you all.

theres a guy next door to me with a CWP speed. i was walking my dog and he was out cleaning his car as i was walking by so i decided to holler.

dude was a str8 douche bag. and on top of that, he thought he knew everything.

after sitting and dealing with his 'tude when i wanted to say something to him. i got the convo back on track and mentioned a few of us going to the dyno.

so the douche was like, "oh i dont need to waste time going to the dyno. i know what the car makes from factory and i dont plan on modding it. i know it makes like 210hp to the wheels." i laughed and walked off. i couldnt stomach talking to that d-bag anymore

all the speed owners around here get a wave from me and i will get one back if they see me.

actually all the REAL car people around here usually give a wave or something. kind of a cool scene here actually. nothin hostile, maybe a little rev or chirp at the lights...all in good fun!

I live in NOVA area also, and have seen many MS3's and none of them wave. I had a VW and everyone that owns a VW waves. I wish that MS3 owners were the same.

i got 1 wave in the past. One guy tried to race me i guess when i was trying to wave but apparently, my speed was faster and i was able to wave to him as i passed him. He stayed behind keeping his distance while i was slowing down to see if he wanted some more lol.
