MS3 Exhaust

Im looking into getting an exhaust in the very near future and alot of N/A MZ3's go with the MS3 exhaust, what kind of power gains do you get from it, anyone got any video/sound clips? Its either between a MS3 exhaust or a CorkSport exhaust!

But if Mazdaspeeds upgrade there exhaust to a CorkSport, then obviously the CS is better?

one thing to keep in mind: getting a second hand stock MS3 exhaust will require some welding to be performed. to get the stock exhaust off the car, it needs to be cut. any aftermakert exhaust will not require welding, but should include a slip joint to conenct it together.

i would just get the corksport exhaust, but not the MS3 version. get their regular mazda3 version. the speed3 version will WAY too loud.

yeah that definitely does suck. i dont want to kill my stock exhaust in the process. im reaaaaaaaaly contemplating the corksport i just dont want my exhaust to be to loud to where it gets on my nerves and its obnoxious while driving! ecspecially for traveling , ya know? do you have a cs, any input? thanks!

no, no corksport here - i dont even have a mazda3!

i have a protege with a ractive header, MSP mid-pipe, and a magnaflow cat-back exhaust. its a little louder than stock, but not ricey at all. my setup has a nice deep tone.

If you don't want your exhaust to be too loud, don't put a stock MS3 exhaust on your normal 3. I've ridden in a car with that setup and it's annoying as hell. He ended up replacing it with a Borla designed for a normal 3 and it sounds SO much better. Go with the Corksport designed for a normal 3 and you will be a lot happier.

No I've never heard or ridden in a 3 with the CS exhaust in person, but I've heard good things about it. You should be happy with it.
