And FWIW, I say leave the roof white. Purposely painting your roof black is just plain rice. It's pretty much the same as painting your hood black because you can't afford a CF hood. A black roof also absorbs more heat.

Well I guess I shouldn't say a laminate (doesn't come in a roll or anything like that). But it is a stick on piece that goes over the paint. Like its probably a wheel CF piece but it doesnt replace the sheet metal.

I say go panda... I also think you should ditch the stripes and paint below the lower grille black and the hood (the part that lines up with the grille) black. And the wing and hatch.

that's what I'm doing, hopefully it will start getting painted the beginning of this week.

Sorry guys, forgot to check the thread. lol, I'm happy they didn't total it out but I was scared they would. My estimated damage was $4,200. The shop is asking for roughly another grand to get it all finished. I'm friends with the owner of the shop, and it was his idea to leave the roof black and paint the hood. He called me at work and told me to come by and look at it before he did anything else. Hopefully I'll have it back the beginning of next week.

On a sucky note, my rental car... is a Kia.
