MS3 Catback on N/A Mazda 3 - Resonator and Muffler Delete

Just finished up getting my muffler removed. On my 2.3L is a Mazdaspeed 3 catback, resonator and muffler gone and this is how it sounds. A friend asked me to upload so I figured why not share it here. Sorry for the stretched quality.

Not a bad sound but I am sorry....you installed a catback system from an MS3 but removed the resonator and the muffler? Wouldn't a straight pipe and piping suffice from like Autozone or Pepboys? I take the MS3 exhaust cost you nothing I suppose.

Yeah the MS3 catback was 100 bucks, I essentially paid for the 2.5 inch piping instead of the stock 2.25". Overall, without labor, this has costed me 100 bucks. With labor about 210$. I see what you mean though.

I also figured that the labor to fabricate the custom piping would be more than the cost of installing the MS3 exhaust in total.

Well you have a point if you had it done. I like the throaty sound it makes.
