MS3 brakes and 16" rims

I have a 2012 mazda5 and have heard conflicting information about whether an MS3 front brake conversion would fit with my OEM 16" rims. I run aftermarket 17"rims in the summer but I have snow tires on my OEM 16s that I run half the year. Can anyone on this forum help me out once and for all?

I have a 2008 MS3 and in the winter I use 16" (16 X 6.5) steelies from tirerack with 16" Blizzacks mounted. No problem with brake clearance. Tight though.

You've probably already got this taken care of but I have an 08 MS3 and run Ford Fusion 16" wheels for snow tires with no problems.

i think offset also has to do with fitment. could be wrong though. i know my rx7 FD wheels fit (16x8 et.50) but the inner rim wheel weights are dayum close to the caliper
