MPS 6 Power steering problems?

Has anyone else had any issues with power steering pumps like this?

The power steering pump is making a stupid whine and keep getting louder as the RPM goes up.

I have to say I haven't had this problem with my MPS yet "touchwood". I had the car for over one year as well.
