mp5 front bumper

i have a white 2002 lx and i found a white 2002 mp5 that was rear ended and i was thinking about getting the front bumper and side skirts off of it but i seem to remember some one say the bumpers are differnt some how but i have seen pics of guy that have done the swap
so what would i have to do to do the swap and what all would i have to get off the other car?

get the whole front clip, including all the under-support stuff and you'll be good. do a search for either protege5, mazdaspeed, or MP3 bumper conversion to find out all what you really need.

you would need the bumper, reinforcement, and front splash guards to do the bumper conversion.

will the p5 bumper work without the reinforcement bar? my little cousin is planning on buying a 03 protege and wanted me to find out how to convert the front end to a mp3 or mp5 look.

you could do it but you would have to cut up the reinforcement that you have to make it fit.
