MP3 Player in dash

Has anyone gotten this as an accessory item yet? My Bose system is regular cd and NOT mp3.

My question is - do they replace the head unit with an mp3 changer instead of what i have, or is it an additional changer that im assuming goes in under the Bose head unit where they have a prefab slit across the dash?

If its a swapping of head units i think im going to try n get it for free becasue i remember alot of you guys saying how the Bose system should/was MP3 after a certain build date or something, and, the car i test drove was an mp3 and the one i bought was not

Is the bose system in a sport compatible with the MP3 changer available?

I ordered the 6 cd changer and they swap out the old changer and install the new one in its place. It works adequately with mp3's.

So it was no problem adding the aftermarket mp3 changer to the sport model which has the bose moonroof package? The dealer says its not possible and that is what the mazda site seems to say as well, but i can't imagine its a problem.
