MP3 only made in 2001?

'02.5 P5 owner here w/an MP3 question - was 2001 the only year the MP3 was available in the USA?

the mp3 was in the showrooms at the time i was shopping and bought my car, thats how i know that one.

where do you drive around? i live in glastonbury, but work in windsor locks.

Yes only made in 2001. There were 500 yellow, 1000 blue for a total of 1500 in the US. Then an additional 250 or 500 blue in Canada.. I always forget the number.

Only 250 in Canada and they are all blue and only sold in 2001

Actually the first 1000 were blue and then the remaining 500 were mixed yellow and blue, which makes a yellow mp3 that much more rare.
