We will be getting our beta boxes back this week that have been reconfigured. If they are straight then we just finish tuning. We are still on target for the beginning weeks of March.mspeed101 said:Hey when will this Aem engine management be available for us to buy?
Sounds good! whats the price looking like so far, a ballpark figure?perfworks said:We will be getting our beta boxes back this week that have been reconfigured. If they are straight then we just finish tuning. We are still on target for the beginning weeks of March.

Can you please gives us some more info on the fuel pump that you sell. You mentioned the Walbro 255. Is this the only one you have or do you have others. Is the Walbro 255 the best FP you have?
Thanks for the kind comments.Lurch said:Nice to see someone coming up with this. A lot easier than creating an entire harness, building an instrument cluster, rewiring a car, and tuning from scratch, trust me.
Perfworks, I looked through the thread (Jeezzzz!! 466 posts???) and saw that you have traction control ability...just wondering if you have actually played with it and the principle behind how it works (timing cut, fuel cut, either, or other) or if it has ability to control an electronic diff. I've talked with the AEM guys for 3 years now. I think the product is a pretty good piece in general. I assume you need wheelspeed sensors on both driven wheels and one non-driven? Can you program for a % of slippage (for use on gravel)? Is "slippage" even a word?
As someone who has spent over $5000 in engine management and dyno work in the last year alone, I see this as very nice option for club racers, cone squishers, and weekend warriors.
We have mentioned earlier to do a GB price of $1450 for the unit. Unfortunately we have to meet minimum price requirements thru AEM. This is actually a good thing so that all the vendors that Market AEM products will be fair and profitable.mspeed101 said:Sounds good! whats the price looking like so far, a ballpark figure?
nick, when will you be able to give us specifics on how this unit will help us N/A guys? i think i remember you talking about this unit helping non turboed cars too??? thanks!perfworks said:We have mentioned earlier to do a GB price of $1450 for the unit. Retail pricing after the GB will be $1595.
We are also looking at an additional charge of $250 for the WB needed for accurate feedback control.
