Drilling the holes for the wing scared me the most. If you screwed up, everyone would see it, or the wing would be off-centered.Laser03pro said:Just paint the parts and put them on. You do have to drill holes on the rockers thats the scariest part.
At the time when I purchased my parts Protege Garage wasn't even around. But in answer to your question.... Yes, buying from Protege Garage would be the best way to go if you are looking for new parts.sorry to bring up a dead thread... but wouldn't it work out cheaper to buy the whole kit from protege garage for $1,500?
I want the look of the 3.5 Mazdaspeed, looks much better i think...
mines auto too... it can go the same speed, maybe .2 slower.. not that much, or you manually do it until 3rd gear... bad for tranny though, but i like to do it.. lol...
Also thought about putting V8 in there, lol, a big beast, like i have seen done with miata's.
i miss my old ES Protege with the mp3/03 msp kit....
oh wait my car is a TON faster now![]()
Nah, I don't manually do it to third... but i have can control the shifting usually.. then sometimes i have a heavy foot hahaha..
a V8 would be nutter...
I actauly had a MSP motor with manual tranny ready to buy for 2,300 the guy sold it for 3,000 (jackass)
well nice of you to rube it in my face (321fu) j/k...
Well by next year i am thinking of going for a ms6 or looking for a 3.5 msp..
