I reset the ecu and im waiting to see if it comes back on...have 40 miles on it soo far...I didnt think the scanner would detect anything because it has been reset....but I'll wait it out to see if it shows back up and zthen i'll have bazooka joe scan it for the code...hopefully kooldino can give me some info on his situation...abd how he fixed hisBigg Tim said:Don't know why you are getting the Crank sensor error? supa saiyan pr5 said:Well I have waited it out to see if the cel light would come back..but nothing as yet.....just to check I ran down to teh emissions center and had the guy check to see if it would connect to the ecu....he connected and PASSED.....so the non-fouler method works so far.....I have no cats in my exhaust....

It was actually the OBDII scan I was talking about.....I didnt get the probe in the exhaust test.....it's a newer car so they scan for check for cel lights and any problem codes....dcbeggs said:That's sweet you passed emissions with no cats at all, I'm actually suprised that worked.
