Mounting amp under seat

I want to mount my amp under the passenger seat where the Bose subwoofer is currently. For those of you that have done this, how did you secure the amp? I want to avoid drilling into the floor pan as rust is a big issue in MI.

I bought a piece of 3/4" thick solid wood, and raised it to clear the plastic air vent. Then attached two 'L' shaped brackets on the sides to secure the plate to the two threaded bolts where the Bose woofer was attached. Then I bought a thin aluminum bar that I bent to the proper shape and drilled to attach the plate to the cross member in front of the seat (where the subwoofer used to be attached as well). Looks nice, but velcro would be a lot easier for sure.

I'll probably try the good ole velcro first as I don't want to spend a lot of time on this part of my install. Thanks for the tips guys.

I built a mount using some 3/8 plywood, spray painted it black. I made a cardboard version first for fit/clearance. Both brackets (one for each amp/side) took about 20 minutes to make/paint. I think it took longer for the paint to dry than to make/mount them. They both clear the rear vents and use the existing bolts from the Bose system.
