motortrend tests the 09 wrx...

I do not have anything to "let go" I could seriously care less. its a joke. hence why I've been saying since the beginning not to take me toooo seriously. Its the internet and its a place to have fun, geesh people get way to worked up.

And if you look at one of my more recent posts I did move the convo on. And you arent helping by saying "keep the conversation going." why dont you enlighten us with your opinion on the matter.

crap, this thread smells like a turd covered in burnt hair...

How bout we all chill out a bit and take this one back on topic....

Fair enough

why dont you enlighten us with your opinion on the matter.

It would appear I already did. :)

In any case, I'm keeping my MS3 although I would give the new '09 WRX consideration if I was currently in the market and didn't have a performance vehicle already.

This is what makes democracy great! Dialogue with a passion and no one gets killed over it. I bought the Mazdaspeed 3 because it is a very nifty car. Well designed functionally and in appearance. And it is rather quick. And for that much power and comfort i get pretty good mileage with my mods. Over twenty five mpg and mstly abouts 28. What more could one want? I want to drive the car I want to drive. Sometimes I want differnt cars for different reasons and sometimes I can even have them. But this one is my favorite. The MazdaSpeed #3 is a great effort towards world peace. The way I see it, if you want to drive slow stay in the right lane and I will never hurry you or tailgate. But if you stay in the passing lane and will not move aside after I flash my lights respectfully and it is safe to move over, well you are just being stubborn. This is my sage wisdom for today. Peace, safety of others and high performance is where i am at man! and that is all I have to say about that.

So the new WRX has what like 230 whp and it runs 13.5 in the 1/4? Does this seem too good to anyone?

13.5 is quite good for any car. But seems a bit surprising for that horsepower rating you sure it is not 14.5?

wow READING OWNS YOU....

click the link for the answer to your pitiful question.

:)

Hi, thanks for being a dickhead.

The article you referenced states: "The updated WRX's 2.5L boxer-four now delivers a healthy 265 hp and 244 lb-ft of torque."

And I estimated 230 whp. Am I way off? Reading owns you.

kthx

ahh ok ok u win this round. i gaurantee you though that with a very good driver you can most likely get even better than a 13.5.

haha. Hp does not determine 1/4 times. With the wrx/sti the car is a synch to launch and hooks immediately, instant spool, and the sti comes with some nice rubber. So smoking down the track is easy as go.

can anyone clarify why the impreza gt "2008 wrx" costs MORE than the 2009 wrx???
