Buy the 09 WRX and 2 years or less later something else "better" will come out. It's a never ending cycle and you'll never be satisfied.

I agree with you 100%, people need to stop being fanbois and stop comparing oranges to berries...lol...you should be happy with what you got...my best friend drives a 2.5rs and its pretty clean, hes building the motor and the suspencion on that fuckers cost more than the damn car, but he could easly go out an get an sti, it would be the easier thing to do, but he loves his car and will evently pawn stis and I'll be there with him once money starts raining from the heavens. Be happy with what you got, we got awsome deals on our cars and everytime I get into mine I can say I'm home. As soon as the new speed comes out which it will (I hope), I'll be on that like a fat kid is on chocolate cake.

Well the thing is, his comment was correct. When you bought your MS3 it was for performance over MPG because if MPG was more important then you would have bought a regular 3.

It's a good thing I didn't buy my car for a variety of reasons, relative MPG being one of them, when I have more than enough money and could have purchased faster (thirstier) cars. It's almost as if I *gasp* made compromises between things I want in a vehicle!

But, with MOST people (I wont count you in this any longer since apparently its making your butthole sore) looked at the MS3 for its performance as a main selling point on the car because if that wasnt the driving factor then they had a choice of a regular 3 or any other "zippy" cars with decent MPG....

anyways.............We stopped at the subie dealer on Monday and test drove an 09 WRB Sedan...It's sweet car. Loved the ride, the acceleration and the subtle improvements over the 08 were fantastic. I enjoyed the short trip in that more than I did in the MS3 we test drove. It's definitely worth the $ now.

I actually didnt mind the sedan in the flesh but we're definitely sold on the Hatch.

In any case, I'm keeping my MS3 although I would give the new '09 WRX consideration if I was currently in the market and didn't have a performance vehicle already.

I ask myself would I want an 09 wrx?? I think the power it makes is amazing especially for the price. I love subarus, I have enjoyed every single one that I have owned. Unfortunately subaru has yet to make the appropriate changes the wrx drivetrain. If i bought another wrx I would have 5k sitting aside for another ppg tranny, considering the tranny will most likely fail, especially after mods.

Personally I am waiting for the 2 door rwd 6 speed to come out. Until then I will continue to build the ms3 to its potentional.
