Mohican Fun Run II Saturday September 22, 2007

It's that time of the year again for the Mohican Fun Run. Some of you may be wondering what exactly this.
In conjunction with Cleveland6Club (Mazda 6 board) I'm proud to offer and invitation to all driving enthusiasts in the Ohio Valley to come down to Mohican State Park on Saturday September 22nd, 2007 for the Second Annual Mohican Fun Run.
The will be a spirited driving event from Lexington, Ohio to the Pleasant Hill Dam, near Mohican State Park. This will give everyone a chance to see how well their cars handle sharp turns, elevation changes, etc...
After the run, we'll head over to a reserved picnic areas and have a barbeque and discuss the cars and what not. Also, we can rent canoes and or tubes and enjoy the water.
There is a fee associated with reserving the pavilion so if you wanted to donate a few dollars to the cause that would be great. Also, there will be a barbeque/luncheon. If you plan on attending and coming out to the pavilion to eat afterwards it would be great if you could bring a side dish/food to grill/utensils/condiments....something along those lines.
If you are interested post on up!!! I will keep this post updated with the most current information. Once we have the pavilion location I will post up a picture of the site.

We will be meeting @ the McDonalds parking lot, I-71 and State Route 97 (exit 165) @ 9:00AM on Saturday, this should be a great event, great cars, great people and great food!
If anyone is NOT joining us for the fun run, we should be at the Gorge Overlook Shelterhouse by noon. Just take 97 South and enter Mohican State Park on the left (I'll attach link to map of park) and follow signs to Gorge Overlook. There is an entrance on the left (not noted on map) into the park right after the Memorial Shrine, if you go in there, follow the road to the right and the gorge will be down a ways on the left. If you enter off 97 at the "south entrance" the Gorge Shelterhouse will be the first right turn.
