MM question?

ok so ive noticed every time i shut the car off im getting this weird like rattling sound like something is loose in my engine bay..im thinking its the weak ass motor mounts these cars come with stock but idk i also get the sound when im releasing the clutch and dont give any gas and the engine is shaking? any ideas?

If you have an aftermarket intake system, I would start with that. Especially if it is a CAI.. My SE-R Spec V had the same problem and it turned out it was the CAI rubbing on the metal. If that is not it, I would then look to any other bolt on's that might move during engine startup. I would look to the MM last. I have an 07 MS3 with the stock MM still installed (TRZ waiting to be installed) and I don't have any of those rattling issues. But then again, it could be a MM

I would also check to see if your exhaust is clear from rubbing or banging during torque!!!
