Hi everyone, I'm new on this forum. I did a couple searches and didn't the info I'm looking for. Someone tell me if it as been discussed before.
I'm the co-driver/preparator of an ex-WC race car that is currently running a KLZE motor in a regional serie. We are looking at making a 2.0T conversion for HP and torque purposes. I'm currently looking at all the different possible setups.
One of my main concern is choosing between a FMIC with full width mishitomo rad or Ron Davis narrow rad with upgraded SMIC.
Keep in mind this is a road racing application and we are subject to 45 - 60 min races.
I think Doc B is running FMIC with mishitomo but according to description Ron Davis seemed to be design for road race application?
I presume FMIC should be better for air charge temperature but what about the hot air it's throwing into the radiator?
Oh yeah important info: we would be playing in the 250 whp range with possibly GT-2871RS
Thanks for your inputs
