my 97 millenia S, is having problem with the sensors, the battery was dead, and the sensors are in unready mode, people told me i need to do a drive cycle, some one told me to drive it on the freeway and same speed for about 5 min will do it, but it didn't work, i dorve about 17 freeway and 17 local, and nothing happen, i don't have CEL or any codes, how do i get the sensors to work again? does anyone know? the sensors are o2,cat, egr, and evp.

I've heard that resetting OBD II codes can take at least 50 miles or more and require certain actions to be performed. Usually in those 50 miles you do all the required actions without knowing.

I'm not sure about OBD II but I heard that you can reset the ecu by unpluging the neg cable on the battery and simply pump the brakes. Not sure on that but it might be worth a try.

i don't need to reset it, it already got reset after the battery die, i just need to get the sensors to communicate with the ecu again, i got 4 sensors in "unready" mode, i already drove about 100 miles some local some freeway, but notthing change, they are still in unready mode

Sometime you need to do some very specific things for the codes to reset. If you can figure out which codes they are the dealer might be able to tell you what to do to clear them. I seem to remember one code was dependent on how much gas you had in the tank.
