We can agree to disagree then, Your URL is from a manufacture so its always going to lean in there favor. My GTO came with Denso as the OEM plug.
I was able to add two degrees more timing with a copper plug. Volvo also uses Denso but it's copper because they have a turbo. Part number Q20PR-U
I'm not a big small motor guy but I've built a few 500HP cars in my time. Switching to Copper typically NGK V-Power provide a much more constant spark and less misfires as cylinder pressures start to climb.

I can tell you at this point if was to but a platinum plug back in my Blown, 14PSI, methanol injected, head and cam LS1 those plugs would be toast quickly.
Now back to the gas mileage thread. I'm like Racebrewer averaging 28MPG per tank.
