Thanks. He pushed it up a day. He'll be here in another hour to see it, drive it, and then we're heading to the bank to deposit his check and make sure the funds are a go.

Hold on to the pink until his check clears. (No matter how official the check looks) I don't even trust cash until the bank accepts it. I would even keep one of his children....Sorry I'm getting carried away!!

i'd ask for money order or cashiers check pesonally. that way you KNOW for a fact that the money is there.

When we go to my bank, I will have the teller call his loan officer/bank and make sure the funds are in there. That's what I did lasat time when I sold my WRX.

Yeah this is perfectly normal because its a private party transaction. Ive boughten a few cars from private sellers and the bank has always needed a copy of the title in order to process the loan. But if your saying that he is paying cash for the car then IDK. Maybe he is just making 100% certain that the title is clear and without any problems.

Dang, that car IS super clean, you did a great job cleaning it up. But how can you sell it -- it even matches your house!

Hope the sale goes through well; the buyer is getting a nice deal but you certainly aren't getting ripped off by any means, and nice to have things go smoothly.

$17K is great for me considering I was thinking about dumping it to the local Mazda dealer for $15,500 this weekend. This guy came out of nowhere this week.

Sad thing is I kept the car in this condition all the time. I can't stand the car to be dirty. OCD much?

Very happy all this took less than a month and went so smoothly. Even happier that the car sold within two weeks. Happiest that me and my wife can start a family even sooner now

I definitely won't have that issue with the P5 since HP & TQ are more than half of what the MS3 has.

well, you had your moment(s) with the speed3. @least the p5 will somehow save you a little bit on gas money.

you should've saved the rx8 rims for the p5 though (thought).

I've seen a few P5s with them and they look pretty big. The fender wells are a bit smaller compared to the Speed3s. And you'd have to put SUPER thin tires on in order for them not to rub.

IMO, 18" wheels on P5s are like putting 20" on MS3s
