Microtech Library

thanks may sound stupid but is that map set for turbo? I'm sure it is but just had to ask

Where did you purchase the MT? If you bought it from NSN it is preloaded with a 550 map that is stored on the dongle.

okay car runs but funny thing is that my wide band show lean. when giving gas so i look at my fuel pressure and it was low. bump it up to 40psi now my car is dumping to much fuel give it gas it stumbles. it is like the injectors are dumping fuel.but i do go rich now. does an one know were i should look.i think i need to slow the injector pulse down a bit but not sure how to change and in what screen.

okay i figured out the fuel thing. now i have both map stored and they are close to the same. But my car barley moves with either setting. are these maps just to start the car enough to get it to a dyno?

So since the microtech uses a MAP sensor, is it possible for me to bypass the MAF altogether? Is there any way to just clamp the wires and trick the ECU into thinking the MAF is there, so I don't get a CEL? We're almost done with my install, and my mechanic and I were talking about going to a vent to atmosphere BOV, and possibly getting the MAF off the intake tubing.

^ You don't need the MAF at all (or O2 sensors for that matter). I didn't clamp the wires, just pulled the CEL bulb lol.

So hopefully will start tuning it tomorrow afternoon. Since I'm running 440's I'll probably start with the 550 map and increase the fuel trims a bit.

No O2 sensors either with the LT10s?

You don't need O2 sensors with any model. The tuning is done with a wideband, which is the only O2 sensor I use. I have no MAF, no O2 sensors (besides the wideband), and no egr either. Runs perfectly, and I've been at 14 psi on a T3/T4 MAM Thumper kit now for over a year without even the slightest issue, and on stock internals! A proper tune and keeping an eye on the oil are key.
