yea it was a good time for sure... when did you spin out? on the way to picket fence or after? cuz i took off after we stopped there. glad everythign worked out and you didnt hit anything

I don't remember where we were going when I spinned out, somebody sure will chime in...

I just gave it too much gas and lost it when the rear tires broke traction

In the end the Michigan Mazda Drive became the Subaru Drive with a couple Mazdas in the mix hehe...

We have to do this more!!

Just after the picket fence. I noticed that someone had pulled to the side of the road for a second, but pulled back on. He saw you spin but the rest of us missed it.

On a different note, why did we run into soo many cars after lunch that decided 35 in a 55 was smart?!? That was just mind boggling. even the Minivan was passing them.

Great recovery though.

I ended up being the lone MSP or even protege, got my ass handed to me on the straight-a-ways!!

Still, it was a lot of fun and cool finally meeting some of the people!!

yeah, I'll have to plan my time better next time and stay for the whole drive ! It was a blast though even with the slowest car there !! Although, I think I did have the cleanest car there. LOL Some of you guys had some dirrty s*** !! HAHAHA J/K. The wagon did OK though I guess even if she is a bit weak in the straightaways. Nice to finally meet some of you guys as well.

Thanks to everyone that came out. Once again we had Mazda's dropping off like flies when the event materialized. (boom07) But we had a total of 13 cars and it was a good time had by those that showed. Equal parts Subby's and Mazda's out. Perfect weather, good pace. Maybe we'll do another one in November, if anyone is game. (thumb)

I'd fight it if I was him. He didn't get clocked with radar or laser, they were using a stopwatch and distance marks in the street!

"Yeah according to my highly accurate stopwatch and hand-eye coordination I estimated his speed to be 205 MPH because he ran a quarter mile marker in XX seconds" BLEH

it obviously is admissible in court. even michigan has those white lines- ever notice around bigger freeways that they'll just have random huge white lines crossing all lanes? and then another a short distance away? bingo. he's screwed. ok, so add error, and he was still going 180mph.
